We just returned from our second trip to the Mama Safi houses and we enjoyed this one even more than the first. There have been many amenities added since the first trip. They have added comfortable terrace furniture where you can sit and watch the beautiful sunset. The furnishings in the houses have been upgraded and are very well appointed. We chose to self-cater and there was everything there for us to use in the way of kitchen supplies. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and wanted to make sure we enjoyed every minute of our stay. There were Masai guards during the night to provide for our security. The property is very close to the Sekanani gate so we were able to go on multiple game drives a day and still have time to relax back at the houses. Awesome trip and accommodations. We will definitely return.

"The view of the Kenyan hills and Mara from everywhere in the house is so soothing. The openness allowed us to experience not only the view but also the scents and sounds of the wild while being constantly protected and served by attentive, friendly local staff and guards. Our cook prepared tasty meals and presented them very nicely. It was great to just sit back and enjoy the surroundings and experience Kenyan nature"
"We stayed at Mama Safi properties last fall and are already planning our next trip. From watching the beautiful sunrise in the morning while drinking coffee on the patio to relaxing after a wonderful day on the Mara, it could not have been better. The close proximity to the Mara allows you to be on a game drive in a very short time. The houses are quite comfortable and are well equipped to make you feel at home. There is a peaceful feeling in total privacy that comes over you while all the time knowing you are secure and under the watchful eyes of the Masai guards. We can't wait for our next visit."
